Hogchester is situated one mile from the sea at Charmouth and close to Lyme Regis one of the Jurassic Coast's most famous coastal towns.
The rugged coastline is magnificent and has been awarded World Heritage Site status with many wild and beautiful coastal walks to follow and Dorset sunken paths called Holloways.
The coastal rock formations span approximately 185 million years of the Earth's history and include a large range of important fossil zones.
